Go Red For Women Luncheon May 9th

CLICK HERE TO TAKE THE GO RED HEART CHECKUP

Go Red For Women is the American Heart Association's nationwide movement that celebrates the energy, passion and power we have as women to band together and wipe out heart disease.

Thanks to the participation of millions of people across the country, the color red and the red dress have become linked with the ability all women have to improve their heart health and live stronger, longer lives.

Heart disease and stroke are the No. 1 and No. 3 killers of women. They are two of the many cardiovascular diseases that kill nearly 500,000 women each year. That's more than the next five causes of death combined. Fortunately, you can do a lot to prevent these killers.

Go Red For Women helps you discover unique lifesaving power by learning about heart disease and stroke and taking positive action to reduce your risk of both. Red is the American Heart Association's color for women and heart disease. Make it your color, too.

Know your Numbers:

Knowing your numbers is an important part of keeping your heart healthy. These numbers can help you and your doctor determine your risks and mark the progress you're making toward a healthier heart.

Go Red in your own Fashion:

Going red in your own fashion is about finding a personal way to take part in the fight against heart disease in women. Whether it's visiting your health care provider, eating a healthier diet, increasing your exercise, purchasing products that support the cause, or wearing red on National Wear Red Day - you can do something special to love your heart.
