Jeep Reveals Moab Concepts (Slideshow) - Driver's Seat

Jeep will debut six niche models at the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah which starts Saturday. The safari gives Chrysler a chance to test the latest cutting edge designs that could one day be melded into production models.
The models include:
The Jeep Mighty FC Concept, a truck-like Jeep built using a variety of Wrangler-based parts. The truck features a 39-inch tires and has a quasi-military look with the body paint. Jeep originally built the Forward Control from 1956 through 1965.
The Trailhawk concept gives the Grand Cherokee an off-road look. Chrysler executives and designer said Tuesday they are seriously considering putting the Trailhawk into production. The model is painted in Stone White and features an upper mesh grille and front and rear tow hooks. A red trim line outline a matte black hood.
The Wrangler Apache has a 6.4-liter Hemi engine and features a lift-kit along with a new front and rear bumper assembly. The Wrangler Traildozer is set up for especially challenging off-road terrain.
A special version of the Rubicon will show off a range of aftermarket accessories and test customer acceptance to new LED-lights slipped just under the front windshield.
Jeep also announced that its blacked-out Jeep models will be called Altitude. Earlier this year, Jeep showed off the blacked-out Grand Cherokee and asked consumers to choose a name. Altitude was selected from more than 100,000 suggestions. Chrysler will roll out a blacked-out version of the Grand Cherokee, Jeep Patriot and Jeep Compass.
