A member of the so-called 'Bling Ring' gang that terrorised numerous Hollywood celebrities by breaking into their homes and stealing clothes and jewellery has pleaded no contest in court.

Rachel Lee, 21, is now expected to be sentenced to four years in prison for her role in burglaring reality star Audrina Patridge's home.

She pleaded no contest to one count of first-degree residential burglary in connection with the 2009 break-in, according to the District Attorney's Office.

Lee made the plea as part of an agreement with prosecutors, who will drop charges of accepting stolen property and engaging in a conspiracy, district attorney's spokesman Jane Robison said.

She is set to be sentenced on October 21.

Lee's attorney, Peter Korn, did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment.

His client is the second member of the so-called 'Bling Ring' to enter pleas in the string of burglaries.

Alexis Neiers, whose case was featured on an E! Entertainment Television series about her, last year pleaded no contest to burglaring Orlando Bloom's home.

Prosecutors estimate the group stole more than $3million in jewellery, designer clothes and accessories from the stars' homes, much of which has never been recovered.

They are accused of taking part in break-ins between September 2008 and August 2009 at the homes of other celebrities including Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Brian Austin-Green and Megan Fox.

Trial is still pending for four other accused Bling Ring members: Nicholas Prugo, 20; Diana Tamayo, 21; Courtney Leigh Ames, 20; and Roy Lopez Jr, 29.

They are all due back in court November 18 for a pretrial hearing.
