& Wednesday will be a little warmer and a bit more humid as highs reach into the mid 80s under partly cloudy skies. &
There is a cold front on the way for the end of the week and that should take temperatures back to the low to mid 80s.
Between now and then, the temperatures and the humidity will be higher than it has been in a few days. Winds will be easterly on Wednesday and even start turning southerly by Thursday, sending in that warmer, more humid air.
We are also tracking Hurricane Rina. There are really two options for what this storm will do. The first is that this storm weakens and is driven back to the south in a bit of a loopty loop pattern that will keep it in the Caribbean, well away from Florida.
The other option is that this storm could stay a bit stronger and work its way into the Gulf of Mexico. If that happens, it could come toward Southwest Florida by Friday evening, but it would be much weaker.
Once in the Gulf, Rina would face strong wind shear and dry air. It is likely that if Rina does head in our direction, it would be at Tropical Storm strength.
We'll keep tracking it and update you with the latest information through the next few days.
